As we follow the news with regards to the coronavirus outbreak, Staffing Connections is continually monitoring information presented by the CDC as well as state and local health organizations. We are actively following guidance and protocols issued by those organizations in order to provide a safe environment for all staff, clients and guests to our office.
Staffing Connections has reinforced with all staff members the importance of strict guidelines for daily hygiene and facility cleaning practices, and communicated the following CDC recommended guidelines for everyday preventative measures:
- Voluntary Home Isolation: Stay home when you are sick with respiratory disease symptoms. At the present time, these symptoms are more likely due to influenza or other respiratory viruses than to COVID-19-related virus.
- Respiratory Etiquette: Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw it in the trash can.
- Hand Hygiene: Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with 60%-95% alcohol.
- Environmental Health Action: Routinely clean frequently touched surfaces and objects.
In addition, the following proactive measures have been taken throughout our offices:
Cleaning procedures enhanced – Our day to day facility cleaning procedures are already very comprehensive; however, given the current situation, our staff is increasing their efforts to ensure our offices are clean for all staff members, candidates and guests to our offices.
Hand sanitizer stations added – As a precautionary measure, we have placed additional hand sanitizer stations in locations at the main entrance, as well at everyone’s work area.
Social distancing protocols – As recommended by the CDC and WHO, we are following social distancing protocols.
We are closely monitoring all CDC, federal and state recommendations, and our operational team will take all necessary precautions to ensure our staff, candidates and guests to our office safety, and will continue to communicate with you regularly with regards to changes and recommendations.
