Job: Opthalmic Technician

Peforms an extensive number of data collection functions as delegated by the physician to allow for proper professional diagnosis of patients’ condition and to do so in a way that instills patient confidence in the treatment. Must demonstrate opthalmic assistant skills. Responsible for daily patient care and flow. Provide chair side doctor assistance and help administer treatment ordered by the physician. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years minimum experience as an opthalmic assistant, and Succesful completion of JCAHPO Certified Opthalmic Assistant Requirements are preferred.
