Originally from upstate New York, Peggy relocated to the Columbus area as a military wife in the mid 1980’s and has made this her home. She brings over 18 years of professional experience to our operations group. Her extraordinary organizational skills and attention to detail stems from critical responsibilities in the national sales and marketing areas. Her experience in these areas range from multi-rep, multi-function support roles to management responsibilities. She recognizes and fosters unquestionable customer service practices within our operations area and constantly strives to maintain an operations department in which customer service and complete satisfaction is the only mission. Peggy enjoys being active in our local Chamber of Commerce, SHRM and other civic organizations.
Carl Bland, Jr.
Carl is a Columbus, Georgia native and became a member of the Staffing Connections team in February of 2009 with over 25 years experience in Human Resources, Operations Management, Sales & Marketing. Carl began working for Staffing Connections as the Direct Hire Recruiter and Account Executive in February of 2009. In October 2010, Carl was promoted to his current position as Area Executive Manager and oversees the Sales and General Operations of both Columbus and Opelika branch offices. Carl is a product of the D. Abbott Turner School of Business at Columbus State University where he majored in Accounting. He is also active in and supportive of local Chambers of Commerce and Ft. Benning. Carl is a Veteran and former member of the U.S. Navy, Amphibious Force. Carl and Pamela, his wife of 23 years, enjoy their children, Joey (Jennifer), Chelsea, Trey and two grand daughters, Emily and Mallory Davis. Other than his family time, some of his favorite activities, away from work include learning new, creative culinary skills and photography.
Compliance Manager/Payroll Coordinator
A native of Miami, Florida, Heather relocated to the Columbus area in 1998 and has been an active citizen in a myriad of local events ever since. She has a resume that reflects both corporate support and management roles at all levels of marketing and media relations in a multitude of industries. In 2013, she was brought into Staffing Connections as a media consultant and soon became the Media Relations Coordinator responsible. Her supreme organizational skills, incredible attention to detail and highly developed sense of resources recently rewarded her with her current position as Compliance Manager ensuring that all personal information and professional credentials are accurate and valid. Heather and her husband Phil enjoy their beloved dogs, extreme sporting events of all types and supporting the local little league games. Her heart’s pride and joy come in the form of a daughter and son, Kaitlyn and Kyle, who enjoy the same close-knit active life style.
Patti began working for Staffing Connections in January of 2014. Patti has over 10 years experience in HR with a specialty in Corporate Training. She is currently on site at the TSYS call center at Corporate Ridge where she is responsible for managing/coordinating daily operating functions. Patti is a Canadian citizen, she married her husband in Canada and then, in 1991, transferred to Dallas, TX. She has been a Columbus resident since 1996 and currently resides in Salem, AL.
A local native, Raven began her journey with Staffing Connections in September of 2015 as our front desk associate. Commonly referred to as our Director of First Impressions, Raven is responsible for, not only a multi-line phone system, but also, the ever challenging smooth flow of initial processing for walk-in candidates. She can be found, at any given moment assisting upwards of 8 prospective candidates and providing excellent phone service to our inbound calls. She brings call center experience as well as over two years of client services. When not providing a smiling face, help and information to our candidates, Raven is kept busy by her six year old son, hiking through a park or relaxing on the beach.
Molly is a Columbia, South Carolina native who moved to the Columbus area in 1999 with her family. She began working with Staffing Connections in October of 2016 coming from 5+ years customer service experience. When she is not working, you can most likely find her relaxing at the lake with friends or watching marathons of The Office on Netflix.
Britney was recruited by Staffing Connections in her venture for employment as a recent college graduate from Columbus State University. Receiving a Bachelor’s in Political Science, she brings a dynamic skillset to the field of Human Resources. Her relationship building techniques along with her strong desire to change lives has made her exceptional in all that goes into her role as a Recruiting Specialist. She also brings with her 9 years of customer service experience. Britney is an active member of Young Professionals and an environmental non-profit organization, Citizens’ Climate Lobby. Aside from her professional undertakings, Britney thoroughly enjoys traveling to embark on hiking excursions and music endeavors, practicing yoga, and writing. Above all else, Britney receives her utmost gratification in being the mother to her amazing son, Law.
Staffing Connections recruited Jaclyn in her search for employment as a new resident of Georgia from New York. A native of Southern California, Jaclyn enjoys embarking on adventures that will eventually achieve her dreams of traveling around the world. Her diverse employment experience coupled with her achieved Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology brings an impeccable style to the profession of recruitment and client relations. Her proven ability as a Recruiting Specialist has opened up opportunities to engage in SHRM, which she uses as a tool for spreading knowledge that enhances daily operations. Jackie enjoys embarking in do-it-yourself craft projects, delving into thought provoking novels and attending comedic events.
Originally from Northeastern Ohio, Brittany relocated to the Columbus Area as a military spouse. She brings with her 5 years of employment services to the agency. She previously obtained her bachelor’s degree in Management and is actively working to complete her Masters. When not working with one of our amazing client’s Brittany can be found hiking with her husband and dog or exploring the great things the surrounding area has to offer.
Jeannine is originally from New York, New York. After traveling coast to coast being a military brat Jeannine settled in Columbus, GA. Jeannine is a results-driven Customer Service professional, with over 5 years’ experience demonstrating solid interpersonal communication and problem solving. Jeannine has four children with whom she spends most of her time with when she’s not working. Jeannine loves traveling and cooking for her friends and family.
Amanda, also known as Mandy, is a Columbus native that was recruited for her attention to detail and knowledge of compliance in 2015. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and is currently working on her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Mandy comes to us with over 10 years of customer service experience, as well as several years of compliance and administrative experience. Her eagerness to learn and desire to serve makes her a great fit to our Staffing Connections family. When Mandy is not working or going to class, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time with her family.
Alvin “AJ” Julkes Jr.
Alvin “AJ” Julkes is part of a military family, born in Germany, and has established roots here in Columbus, Georgia over the past 10 years. He is proud United States Air Force veteran, who brings over eight years of staffing, sales, and human resource experience to the team. When not taking care of customers, AJ enjoys spending time with family and exploring his love for cars, sports, and travel.
